Please read these terms carefully before utilizing our website or scheduling appointments. They outline medical disclaimers, appointment protocols, and mutual patient-clinic responsibilities.

Key Disclaimers at a Glance

Effective: November 2026 • Version 1.0

  • Educational only: Reading this website or submitting a form does not create a formal doctor-patient relationship until an in-person clinical examination occurs.
  • Not for emergencies: For acute fractures, heavy bleeding, or severe trauma, please call 112 or visit the nearest emergency room immediately.
  • Booking confirmation: Online appointment requests are confirmed via phone or WhatsApp by our staff before your slot is reserved.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website of Leela Health Care Orthopaedic Clinic (leelahealthcare.in), booking appointments online, or contacting the clinic through electronic channels, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the website.

2. Medical Advice Disclaimer

Important Medical Notice

All content published on this website (including article guides, symptom descriptions, surgical overviews, recovery timelines, and conservative treatment notes) is provided exclusively for general educational purposes.

The information provided is not a diagnostic tool and does not substitute for a personalized clinical examination by a qualified orthopaedic surgeon. Reading this website, submitting an appointment request, or communicating via WhatsApp does not establish a formal doctor-patient relationship. A doctor-patient relationship begins only after an in-person clinical consultation takes place at our clinic.

3. Emergency & Urgent Protocol

Do not use this website for acute emergencies

If you or someone in your care is experiencing acute compound fractures with open skin breakage, severe uncontrolled bleeding, neurovascular compromise, acute spinal trauma with limb weakness, or severe chest/head trauma, do not wait for an email or form response. Immediately call 112 (National Emergency Number) or proceed to the nearest hospital emergency department with Level 1 trauma care.

4. Appointments, Walk-Ins & Scheduling

When scheduling consultations at Leela Health Care:

  • Online Slot Requests: Submissions via our website form or WhatsApp are appointment requests. Clinic reception contacts you by phone or WhatsApp during working hours (Monday–Saturday, 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM) to confirm your exact time slot.
  • Walk-In Policy: Walk-ins are welcomed during clinic hours and evaluated based on medical triage. However, scheduled appointments take precedence to maintain short waiting times.
  • Cancellations & Rescheduling: If you are unable to attend your scheduled slot, we kindly request at least 2 hours notice so another patient in pain may be accommodated.

5. Patient Responsibilities

For accurate diagnosis and safe medical treatment, patients are responsible for:

  • Providing complete and truthful health history, including existing medical conditions (diabetes, hypertension, heart conditions), current prescription medicines, blood thinners, and allergies.
  • Bringing previous imaging (X-rays, MRI scans, CT scans) and discharge summaries to consultations.
  • Following prescribed conservative rehabilitation regimens, medication dosage, and follow-up schedules.
